We left home on a clear, 19 degree morning.  The usual drive down I-95 was uneventful but a bit slow due to some unidentified traffic delays.  We made two stops at rest areas for Ranger (BRRR) but fortunately we arrived at Santee State Park in South Carolina in somewhat warmer temperatures (mid-50's).  We've stayed here before---it's a good stopping point along the way, around 400 miles from home.                                                                                                                                                                                                     It was warm
enough  to sit outside for a bit as the sun went down, but not for too long.  We headed into the RV for some Brunswick stew and a good book.  Tomorrow night we should be in Florida where it will be considerably warmer.

Ranger was well-entertained by the various ferrel cats around the campground.

  1. It's looking like you'll get some good weather this weekend. We're looking forward to your Alabama detour this year!
